My Story

As a mum of a newborn and an 18-month-old, I was relying on the TV to get through each day. But when my toddler started having regular tantrums, I needed a change.

As a teacher, I knew I needed some practical tools to help us thrive. I remembered my husband saying he wished he had a list of play ideas while he was a stay at home dad for 12 months. I thought that was a great idea so I started looking for activities online, but it was overwhelming and often required hours of prep or expensive new toys.

I was feeling hopeless, guilty and like a failure.

So, I decided to take a different approach. I started spending just 10 minutes before bed each night preparing for the next day, using toys we already had, and thinking of new ways to use them. And it worked! Within a month, my days transformed from chaos to calm.

I made the Playbooks! No fuss, no buying new toys, just practical tips that actually work. These activities are suitable for babies to preschoolers, and focus on building concentration, problem-solving, and essential skills for school readiness.
